Shank Comics Education – Emmanuel completed his elementary education at Goodness and Mercy private school, Olambe, Lagos State, and his secondary education at Lagos State Model College Meiran. He completed his tertiary education at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, where he studied Electrical Engineering.

Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel (born 23 March 1997) proficiently known as Shank Comics is an actor, comedian, and media personality from Nigeria. He is well-known for his Lit Gang slogan, which is still the most popular word in the skit.
Adesokan Aedeji Emmanuel is a Nigerian national born in Iwere Ile, Iwojowa-Oyo State. Raised in Olambe, Ogun State. Born to Nigerian parents, Adedeji is a descendant of the western Yoruba people of Nigeria.
Career
Shank started meme-making as a joke and would share it with his friends while they were chatting. His friends told him to take it more seriously. He started doing skits in 2017 and rose to fame during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020, he started trending on Instagram. Three years later, he was recognized by Meta during their “Made by Africa, loved by the world” Campaign alongside other content creators. Shank cites Kevin Hart, Bovi and Trevor Noah as his role models.
Shank’s online store Lit Gang, was launched on 6 April 2022. The store sells branded headwear such as headwarmer face caps and bucket hats.
In an interview on 23 June 2022, Shank told Cool FM Nigeria: “I started content creation out of boredom in 2020.” He added that he moved to Lagos from Abuja in November 2019. He also explained why he could not accept N10 million for endorsement deals. On 6 July 2022, he announced on his Twitter handle that his first car had arrived. On 1 December 2022, Shank was named on YouTube’s End-of-Year Top 10 Breakout – Creators List.
