Lateef Adedimeji Education – Lateef began his education at the Ire Akari primary school in Isolo, in Lagos State. For his secondary education, he attended the llamoye grammar school in Okota, Lagos. He also went to the performance studio workshop at Onikan, Lagos State, where he received performance training. He also developed his writing and acting abilities in the community life project of a Non-Government Organization (NGO). He completed his undergraduate studies at the Olabisi Onabanjo University in the state of Ogun, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. He his among the notable alumni of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU).

Adetola Abdulateef Adedimeji (born February 1, 1986 in Lagos, Nigeria) is an actor and filmmaker. He made his debut in the 2013 movie Kudi klepto, directed by Yewande adekoya. He has acted in more than 100 Nigerian films since he started acting 15 years back. Currently, he is Airtel’s brand ambassador and Numatville Megacity’s brand ambassador.
Lateef Adedimeji Career
Lateef adedimeji started his career as an actor in 2007. He started his career as a dancer and enrolled in a dance school. He is an actor and screenwriter. He has performed on stage since he was 15 years old, but his first professional role was in 2007, when he joined the TV station Orisun. Lateef started acting while he was in secondary school. He was selected by an Non Governmental Organization (NGO) to act as an informant and counsellor during an anti-HIV/AIDS campaign to educate the public on sexual matters and human rights. He created video content where he acted.
He is well-known to his fans for playing an emotional character that cries a lot. He has acted in several Nigerian movies alongside some of the biggest names in the film industry.
In 2016, he received the Best Actor Award at the 2016 Best Of Nollywood Awards. He was also nominated for the 2015 most promising actor of the year at the City people entertainment awards.
Many people mistakenly believe that Lateef is related to the well-known Nigerian actor, Olamide Adekola, due to their similar looks and common sense of humour. He was also well-known to UNICEF because of his writing skills.
On 30 October 2021, he received the face of nollywood male award at ENigeria Newspaper’s Night of Honour.
Personal Life
Adedimeji tied the knot with his wife, also an actress named Oyebade Adebimpe, in a colorful ceremony on 18 December 2021.
