BNXN Education – BNXN completed his primary education at an unknown institution and his secondary education at Emerald Ridge High School. After completing his West Africa Secondary School Certificate (WASSC), he enrolled at the Elite Babcock University, where he obtained his degree in computer science and technology.

BNXN BIO

Daniel Etiese Benson (born 14th of May, 1997), professionally known as Bnxn (pronounced as Benson) and formerly known as Buju, is a Nigerian songwriter, Afro-fusion singer and record producer.

Daniel Etiese Benson was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He hails from Akwa Ibom state (South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria). He grew up in Gbagada with his family, relocating to Ogun State. Growing up, his introduction to Afropop was through artists like 2Baba. He credits Burna Boy with inspiring him to become a musician.

Career

On 27 October 2021, Bnxn announced the release of the extended play titled Sorry I’m Late, which was managed by T.Y. E/EMPIRE and featuring guest appearances from The Cavemen. The album produced by Steph, Perlz, Denzl, with Timi Jay and Rexxie.

Vtek mixed and mastered it, while Poppil mixed and mastered it.

“It’s a message of confidence, victory and comfort,” said Pulse Nigeria’s Alake. “Buju’s first show was in London on November 30, marking the start of his sorry I’m late tour.”

Buju performed his first sold out concert on 22 December 2021. It was also his first Lagos concert. The concert took place at Balmoral Convection Centre, Lagos.

In 2022, he changed his name from Buju to BNxN in order to avoid confusion as he is not “Buju banton” and has a more unique brand. In March 2022, BNxN released the single “Finesse”, which peaked at #52 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart.

In July 2022, BnxN collaborated with British rapper Dave and Jae5 on the song “Propeller”, which became his first UK Top 40 single. The song entered the chart at #38.

Bnxn received their Next Rated award at the Headies 2022 awards ceremony on Sunday, September 4th, 2022. The ceremony was held at Cobb Energy performing arts centre in Atlanta, United States.

Sincerely Benson was released as Bnxn’s debut album in October 2023, featuring guest appearances from Headie One and popcaan.
