Kizz Daniel Education – Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe (born 1st of May 1994), who is professionally known as Kizz Daniel (formerly Kiss Daniel),  is a well-known Nigerian singer and songwriter. He released his first single “Woju” in 2014. In 2013, he signed a record contract with G- Worldwide Entertainment. However, he dropped out of the label after a public contract dispute and a legal battle. In November 2017, he started his own record label, Fly Boy Inc.

Kizz Daniel arrested by Tanzanian Police in Dar es salaam on 8 August 2022 for non-performance.

On February 3, 2023, Audiomack named him as one of the top trending artists and most streamed artists along with Snazzy The Optimist and Asake, as well as 1ucid.

Kizz Danel Education

Kizz Daniel is an Ogun State native. He was born and raised in Abeokuta north local government area of Abeokuta, Nigeria. He finished his secondary school at Abeokuta grammar school. In 2013, he graduated from FUNAAB (Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta,) with a degree in water resources management and agrometeorology (Water Engineering). During his studies at FUNAAB, Kizz decided to focus on music as a career option.


In May 2015, Daniel released his third single, “Laye,” on his birthday, and a video for the song was released two weeks later. The video was shot in various locations in the east of Africa, and was directed by AJE FILMS. On May 14, 2016, Daniel announced the release of his first studio album, New Era.

His departure from G-WorldWide was followed by the launch of his own label FLYBOY INN. He recently signed Demmie Vee & Philkeyz.

Kizz Daniel collaborated with Demmie Vee on a new single “You Go Wait?”

In 2018, he collaborated with Wizkid on a new Hit Song “FOR YOU” and with Davido on another new single “One Ticket”, which topped the charts within 24 hours of being released.

On December 30th, 2018 Kizz Daniel released “No Bad Songz”, his second studio album under FlyBoy Inc. The album consists of 20 songs, including the pre-release One Ticket featuring Davido. Other notable guests on the album include Nasty C, Diamond Platiumz, Philkeyz, Demmie Vee, Dj Xclusive, Wretch 32, Diplo, Sarkodie and many more.

The album was met with positive reviews from music critics and peaked at No 55 on US iTunes Chart and went straight to number 1 on world Album Chart.

On June 25, 2020, Kizz Daniel announced the release of his third studio album ‘King of Love’�.

In 2017, his fans speculated that he would switch to comedy after he uploaded comedy skits on his YouTube channel. However, he stated that he does not want to switch to comedy because his main talent is music.

In 2022, Kizz Daniel performed his hit single “Buga” at FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. He said that he wants to perform at FIFA World Cup, and he also shared an update about if he will be performing at the world’s biggest football event.

In September 2022, he announced that he had bought a new house. According to his statement, he had always wanted to own a house with a boat for his family, which he said he will soon be able to do.

In February 2022, he released a new single called “Cough(Odo)”, which is his 2nd official release of 2022. It was co-written with Blaise beatz.

Change of Name and Record Label Dispute

 Kizz Daniel parted ways with his record label G-Worldwide in November 2017, and set up his own label, FLYBOY I.N.C., the same year. G-Worldwide took him to court and he was found not guilty of any of the charges brought against him.

Kizz Daniel changed his stage name to Kizz Daniel in May 2018, and his new stage name immediately showed up on his social media pages. He also set up a new Spotify account and an Apple Music account with the new Kizz Daniel username, both featuring his new songs.

In June 2018, Kizz Daniel’s former record label “G-Worldwide” took legal action against him, claiming he owned the “Kizz Daniel” name and urged him to cease using it or face legal action.

G-Worldwide issued a press release to media houses in response to Daniel’s statement, and Daniel responded through his lawyer in October 2018.

By April 2022, “Kizz” and “Emperor Geezy” settled their differences, out of court, via a viral video titled “Peace & Love”.

On February 2023, Kizz Daniel received the Song Of The Year award at “Soundcity MVP Awards”, held at Lagos’ Eko Convention centre, with “Buga”.

Personal Life

He and his mysterious girlfriend gave birth to a set of triplets “Jamal, Jalil and Jelani” on May 1, 2021. Kizz went on to explain how he tragically lost one of his triplet sons, Jamal, four days after he was born, when he purchased a 2-bedroom penthouse for Jalil and Jalani.
