MAUTECH has finally declared the cut off mark for 2024 /2025 admission screening. The cut off mark is generally declared when MAUTECH issues the PostUtme /DE Registration form. The 2024/2025 PostUtme /DE Screening form is currently available.
The cut off mark is just one of the criteria used by MAUTECH to screen its candidates. Below are some of the other criteria that MAUTECH normally uses to screen its candidates, which you can read about in our PostUtme /DE Registration guide.

The cut off mark, also known as the cut-off score, is a score declared by a Nigerian tertiary institution and Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) that candidates who want to be admitted must meet in order to be considered for admission screening.
MAUTECH Cut Off Mark For 2024/2025 Admission Screening Exercise
MUATECH’s department cut off mark for the 2023 / 2024 admission screening exercise is 160. According to MUATECH’s management, the Jamb cut off is 140, which means candidates need to score at least 160 in order to qualify for the screening exercise.
Before we conclude, it is important to note that candidates who chose competitive courses should have higher scores than those who did not. The higher the department, the harder it is to be accepted.
MAUTECH Cut Off For All Departments
The department cut off is 160, but as we mentioned earlier, competitive departments will expect their candidates to have a higher score due to the high number of applications they get compared to non-competitive departments. We will be able to provide a full list of all cut off marks for every department in the institution in the future.
Individuals who do not qualify for the cut off are advised to either apply for the change of course or the change of institution form via the CAPS portal of JAMB. If you are unable to do so, you can visit an accredited JAMB CBT center.
